St. Albert Mental Health Clinic 

A free counselling service offered by Alberta Health Services for children, youth and their families. Appointments can be made throughout the week, and they offer a walk-in clinic on Wednesday afternoons 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM.

Bon Accord Gibbons Food Bank Society  

Food hampers may be accessed once per month by residents of Bon Accord, Gibbons, Legal, and surrounding areas.

Food hampers include:

  • Eggs
  • Meat
  • Milk
  • Canned goods

Family School Liaison Program (FCSS) 

A family centered resource that provides support, counselling, and liaison services to individuals and families whose children may be experiencing difficulties either at home or at school.

PFLAG Canada 

Provides support to individuals with issues of sexual orientation and gender identity. 
Includes: group meetings where people can share feelings and experiences, collaboration with community organizations, speaking engagements, presentations, and consultations.

Rivers Edge Counselling Centre 

Information and counselling free or sliding scale for all ages. Includes individual counselling, couples counselling, counselling for children and teens, family counselling, and webinars.

Salvation Army of St. Albert 

Helps individuals find a safe place to eat, sleep, shower and provide access to support services such as/crisis accommodation and financial assistance.

St. Albert Food Bank and Community Village

The St. Albert Food Bank provides a range of services including food hampers, housing support, and social workers. They have an infant formula program to support new mothers. They also provide backpacks and school supplies and run a tax clinic.

St. Albert Family Resource Centre Parent Resources

Over 400 courses and workshops are offered annually through the Family Life Education Program, at the centre and on an outreach basis.  

Early Childhood Programs, Child and Youth Programs, Parent & Caregiver Education Programs make up the many courses offered.
